WAR ON ISLAM. Czech police attacked mosque claiming to search for a book on Monotheism
4/27/2014 11:46:42 AM
On April 25, during Friday prayers, heavily armed Czech police staged a frightening attack on a mosque inside the Prague Islamic Center located in the very heart of the Czech capital.
Police said the attack was needed to find out if "extremist books" criticizing Jews might be published there.
The allegedly critical book is called "Fundamentals of Monotheism - Islamic Concept of God".
The terrifying attack raid was undertaken at the time of a collective Jumma prayer, held on Friday. It lasted for more than 4 hours. According to local media, the police interrupted the Friday prayer and did not let anyone out of the building, except the sick and parents with young children.
During the attack, there were about 100 worshipers inside, and 10 to 20 Muslims were detained.
Among the worshipers, there was also the first secretary of the Indonesian Embassy Vakhoni Iuliano, who visited the mosque along with other diplomats.
The formal reason for the attack was a statement by a police informer who claimed to be a former Muslim and denounced the Islamic Center as a publishing house for the anti-Jewish book.
