International Caucasian Conference held in Istanbul
5/22/2014 1:37:36 PM
On May 21, Istanbul hosted an international conference dedicated to 150 years after the end of the First Russian-Caucasian war. This is the second major conference organized by the Caucasian diaspora and the Turkish NGO IMKANDER.
In addition to representatives of the Caucasus Emirate and Caucasian diaspora, the conference was attended by delegates and guests from Turkey, Europe, Africa, Central Asia and Arab countries.
Speakers and delegates reminded at the forum about monstrous crimes of Russia, which for nearly 400 years commits its atrocities in the Caucasus.
Symbolic in this regard is the fact that the memory date of Russia's massacre of Caucasian peoples was marked by new atrocities of this ever blooded country. This time against Ukrainian and Crimean Tatars.
The participants of International Conference strongly condemned Russia's crimes and called on responsible states and peoples around the world to take adequate measures against the Russian aggressor and bloody criminal, who became the most dangerous threat to humanity.
On the results of the international conference a session of the Caucasian Congress was held, which was attended by authorized representatives of the Caucasus Emirate. A Congress Resolution was adopted.
The International Caucasian Conference was viewed live by more than 100,000 people. That is the number of Internet users who visited the Kavkaz Center website during the online broadcast of the forum.
The full video and a report on the Conference and the Congress meeting will be soon published on the KC website.
