SYRIA. Infidels break through towards central prison in Aleppo. Fierce fightings continue in Deir az-Zor
5/21/2014 3:13:51 PM
On Tuesday, May 20, Assadites' command declared that their troops broke through the defences of the Mujahideen in the north-western outskirts of the industrial zone of Sheikh Najjar and went on the offensive. During the day, the infidels moved forward up to 2.5 km., and have captured the electric substation. Then they entered into a village Haylan between the industrial area and central prison of Aleppo.
Some sources report that Assadites have only 1 km. left in order to actually break through to the prison.
In turn, the Mujahideen also report fierce fightings near the central prison. The most intense clashes occurred on the night of May 21.
In the area of breakthrough, additional units of Assadites are being transferred from other suburbs of Aleppo.
Meanwhile, in Deir az-Zor troops of Assadites and Ad Dawla al-Islamiyya fi al-Iraq wa ash-Sham/Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) continue, on both sides, an offensive against al-Qaeda in Syria (Jabhat an-Nusra/Victory Front (VF)). ISIL representatives, who distribute information via the Russian social network VK, reported that they were able to fully take control of the right side of the river Habur and capture the villages of Busairi, Shami, Dahleh, Breh, Ekadat Saha.
ISIL also announced that they had seized control of several important roads that can not only cut the rear delivery for al-Qaida, but also act as a platform to launch the attacks against VF from different directions.
ISIL representatives publish the map, which shows that VF and other defenders of Deir az-Zor are surrounded by troops of infidels and ISIL.
The report of ISIL indicated that they were able to block the strategically important crossing via river Habur, and now al-Qaeda in Syria has nowhere to go and to save their lives they should surrender to ISIL or Assad troops. In turn, VF stated that it would not give up and will fight to the death.
Also reported fighting between Jaish Hur/Free Syrian Army (FSA) and ISIL near the town of al Sur. The command of FSA argues that during the battle they captured al-Hureijia check point and killed 22 members of ISIL and took 14 POWs. ISIL command has not commented on this statement.
Fightings also continues in the province of Hama. Here, units of VF achieved success eliminating several dozen Assadites in fightings. On Wednesday afternoon it became known that VF captured the commander of the Air Force Intelligence, a certain Anwar Rahmun.
Meanwhile Assadites admitted that the Mujahideen were able to eliminate the Gen. Maan Kanan, who was shot down a night before in the city of al-Mleha while flying in the helicopter.
Meanwhile, Jordanian troops began deployment of its units to the border with Syria. Vacations cancelled for all units stationed in the north of the country, and all the officers had been ordered back to their bases.
Commando battalions have been moved to the border area, according to newspaper Al-Hayat.
Hashemite Kingdom authorities fear a new destabilizing along the 370-kilometre border. In Amman, they believe that a danger to the royal regime comes from those Mujahideen who have received experience during Jihad in Syria. Local sources report about attempts to break through the border.
At least one person was killed and several injured in the morning on May 19 during a firefight between the Jordanian border guards and armed group from Syria, which has tried to cross the border.
According to the intelligence services of Jordan, a group of 12 Mujahideen was associated with VF.
It is believed that about 2,000 Jordanians are fighting in Syria, who constitute a significant fighting force. Every month about 40 people are returning home. The royal regime has detained at least 100 members of Jihad in Syria, who are now accused of terrorism charges.
