Assad's and Maliki's aircraft bomb Iraqi cities
6/25/2014 1:37:34 AM

Assad regime aircraft carried out a series of strikes to the border of Iraq, in particular, it bombed the city of Al Quaim near the Syrian border which is now under the control of the Mujahideen.

Also on Tuesday, the aircraft of illegal Shiite regime in Baghdad launched a series of missile and bomb strikes on the town of Baiji, which was liberated by the units of Ad Dawla al-Islamiyya fi al-Iraq wa ash-Sham/Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL) and local Sunni tribes. The battle for the city and for the largest oil refinery continues for more than 10 days. On the eve, Shiite troops were forced to flee the city after suffering heavy losses.

The city of Tikrit is now under the control of Sunni tribal units and the Mujahideen. Tikrit is the birthplace of Saddam Hussein. All attempts by the Shiite regime to repel the Mujahideen failed (see the photo: units of Ansar al-Islam/Supporters of Islam (SI) raise their flag at the entrance of Tikrit).

Arab and western sources report that in the battles against the Shia regime, former soldiers of Saddam Hussein also took part. They are now grouped into a so-called General Council of War.

Over the past three weeks, liberation detachments managed to chase the troops of Shiite regime out of several Iraqi cities and take control of the territory on the border with Syria and Jordan.

Meanwhile, the first group of 300 so-called military advisers that Washington sent to Iraq to help the Shiite regime to survive arrived in the country.

Last week, Obama said that Washington intended to send to Iraq up to 300 "military advisers" to help in the war against the Mujahideen. According to Obama, America "will strengthen intelligence activities in Iraq and in case of emergency will be ready to strike on identified goals. However, we do not plan to send ground troops to Iraq", he said.

Pentagon spokesman Kirby said that America "has started a preliminary assessment of the ground".
