Putin redeemed his threat to revenge on the EC and downed a Malaysian plane

Polish news portal W Polytice cited an excerpt from an interview with the chairman of the parliamentary commission investigating the Smolensk disaster Antoni Macierewicz, published in the latest issue of the weekly magazine w Sieci. It reads:
- Journalist: Mr MP, we are still in shock of the terrible tragedy that claimed the lives of nearly 300 innocent victims. What is your assessment of what happened in Ukraine with the Malaysian plane?
- Macierewicz: This is a huge terrible tragedy and an awful crime. We offer our deepest condolences to victims' families, and to those who died - our prayers.
- Journalist: Who is responsible?
- Macierewicz: It is obvious to the entire civilized world. That is Russia and Vladimir Putin who sent troops to Ukraine, it is they who incite residents of eastern Ukraine to fight their own country, it is Russian special forces and their military intelligence officer who control them, it is from Russia that they receive equipment and comprehensive support.
Ukrainian intelligence agencies issued a recording of a conversation between Russian troops in Ukraine and their command in Russia, in which they express their admiration for the downing of the plane. There is no doubt that Russian troops in Ukraine and Russian troops in Russia are aware of what happened.
Therefore, the responsibility is clear. Moreover, Putin has full control over all the activities of Russian troops and security forces. His autocracy is undeniably, and therefore undeniable is his responsibility. Especially, as sanctions against Russia were considered in different countries, he threatened that Russia's answer would be absolute. That's what happened".
