7/13/2014 10:36:39 AM
The main Polish political magazine Wprost reported on new developments around the Russian terrorist attack at Smolensk on April 10, 2010. In an article entitled "She accused Putin of organizing terrorist attack in Smolensk. Valeriya Novodvorskaya died (Oskarżała Putina o zorganizowanie zamachu w Smoleńsku. Waleria Nowodworska nie żyje)" the magazine writes in particular:
"As reported by Rzeczpospolita citing a Russian television network NTV, Valeriya Novodvorskaya - one of the last living dissident of Soviet times - died in Moscow at the age of 64.
When Novodvorskaya was 19, old she distributed leaflets criticizing the Kremlin ... For this, she was sentenced to a psychiatric hospital.
In the 1990s, she was an active politician, but as a supporter of full democracy, she was removed from it. Since then, she criticized Vladimir Putin. She accused him in particular of preparation of a terrorist attack on (Polish Prresident - KC) Lech Kaczynski in Smolensk".
For its part, a Polish news portal W Polytice writes in an article entitled "In Moscow, Valeriya Novodvorskaya - an anti-Putin activist - died. She consistently said that (terrorist attack - KC) 10/04 - was a Kremlin revenge (W Moskwie zmarła Waleria Nowodworska - działaczka antyputinowska. Konsekwentnie twierdziła, że 10/04 to zemsta Kremla)":
"Novodvorskaya often talked about issues, most important for the public, that is why she was called an "eternal dissident". She called the United States that supported the dissolution of the USSR "the center of democracy", she has consistently opposed to the war in Chechnya and has been on Georgia's side during the several days of armed conflict with Russia in August 2008.
She was also strongly anti-Putin as spoke about the annexation of Crimea. The biggest failure of the new Russia was, in her opinion, Vladimir Putin's coming to power.
She was a great friend of the Polish patriots and shared her suspicions about Putin. After the plane crash near Smolensk, she stated in her article:
"Anti-Soviet Kaczynski wrong only once (Antysowiecki Kaczyński pomylił się tylko raz ..)".
