SYRIA. Fighting in Deir ez-Zor. IS units capture two villages. It retreats in eastern Ghouta

Sources of Syria reported that during the fighting on 2-3 July 2014 Ad Dawla al-Islamiyya/Islamic State (IS) units (former Ad Dawla al-Islamiyya fi al-Iraq wa ash-Sham/Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL), which declared caliphate) knocked out units of Jabhat an-Nusra/Victory Front (VF) from two settlements in the province of Deir ez-Zor.
IS take control of villages Mayadeen and Shuhail near the border with Iraq. IS units previously captured the border town of al-Bukamal.
According to sources, IS actively uses against VF heavy weapons captured from Shiites after their escape from Mosul.
It also reported that the IS fighters captured the largest oil field of Syria on the border with Iraq. This is reported by AFP.
Earlier this territory was controlled by VF. Now IS holding most of the gas and oil fields of the province of Deir ez-Zor.
It is to be recalled that VF recaptured from the infidels the oil field Al-Omar last November.
Meanwhile, in suburbs of Damascus in the eastern Ghouta IS troops defeated by Jaish al-Islam/Army of Islam (AI) of Zahran Alloush. On July 2 IS units were knocked from the town of Marj al-Sultan, and before that were forced to retreat from the town of Midaa. Now IS units are concentrated near the town of Adra.
Meanwhile a Shiite TV channel in Lebanon, Al-Manar, reported that in battles with IS wounded Emir AI Zahran Alloush. There have not been any comments so far from the AI on injury of its head.
