8 Chechen vacationers detained by Austrian brutal secret police to be officially arrested
8/22/2014 12:49:30 AM

Austrian state news agency APA reported on further developments on the case of 8 Chechens and an Austrian citizen of Turkish origin that have been arrested while leaving the country and heading to southern Turkey for summer vacations on sea.

In the article with a hate crime and biased headline "Investigation prison for Austrian jihadists (U-Haft für österreichische Jihadisten beantragt)", the demo news agency reports that to the prosecutor's office in Vienna applied on Thursday for arrest of the detained Chechens.

According to Austrian penal authorities, a group of Chechens has been "suspected" of "participation in a terrorist organization". The thoughtcrime prosecutors believe that there is "an acute suspicion of a crime" and "a risk of flight, concealment and committing a crime". District Court in Vienna will make its decision by Friday, at the latest.

If the "democratic court" decides to imprison the Chechens, the interior ministry will immediately fill in a request for the removal of their refugee status, said the thoughtpolice.

According to a Vienna-based newspaper "Die Presse" (amongst the Austrian mass media, it is most closely associated with the secret police), 10 Chechens aged 17 to 35, including a woman, were detained. The tenth person is an Austrian citizen of Turkish origin. According to a local paper, Kurier, one minor amongst the detained vacationers had to be released, albeit begrudgingly, by Austrian thoughtpolice. Thus, the total of 9 human beings are subjected to abuse by democratic police.

A someone named Novak, an "expert" on international law and professor at Vienna University, said that the arrest of the Chechens was justified. The guy claimed there were grounds for "some suspicion". In addition, the "professor" pointed out to the need for "prevention of terrorism".

It is to be noted at this point that under international law, Austria is forbidden to detain citizens of other countries (in this case, Russia), even if they are suspected of participation in any kind of war abroad. Austria is officially neutral by its constitution, and it is none of its business to get involved and/or interfere in someone else's war.

The female minister of the Austrian MIA (she is in charge of the secret police) named Mickle-Leitner told after the detention of dissident Chechens that there was the need for "a zero tolerance policy" for dissenters who do not share democratic views, and she also called to immediate revoke of "foreign fighters" (she used the English word) of refugee status.

"Those who themselves trample tolerance should not expect that we will tolerate them", said, a bit out of turn, the female minister in an emotional outburst.

The "Austrian Freedom" party demanded not to imprison but to deport the Chechen vacationers travelling to the beaches of southern Turkey but suspected by brutal thoughtpolice of travelling to Jihad in Syria The Green Party has shown some restraint.
