Prof. Zubov in annexed German city calls on west to curb Russian aggressor Putin
5/10/2014 8:03:38 PM
Czech media reported on May 9, the Day of Russian Orc the Invader, that Professor Andrei Zubov from Moscow State Institute of International Relations, urged the west to curb Russian aggressor Putin.
In his speech to the students and faculty staff at Brünn University in the Great Germany's imperial province of Sudetenland, annexed by what is now called Czechia which was created in 1945 by Russian invaders on the territory of the German Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, Prof. Zubov said:
"I know only one rule: if you do not stop the aggressor, the aggression continues. We need to stop the aggression. We should not let Putin get away with the annexation of Crimea. If nothing happens, we certainly will see further attacks perpetrated by Russia".
Prof. Zubov condemned the Russian totalitarian way of thinking:
- In post-communist countries, where people have lived for decades under a totalitarian regime, the transition to a free society is very difficult. In Ukraine, we see a battle between two trends: the first - it's Soviet totalitarian tendencies and the second - the European democracy. I believe that second trend will eventually win. But I do not know the price Ukraine will pay for it".
Asked about the job offered to him by Brünn University in the Czech-annexed German Sudetenland, Moscow professor said he would not give Putin a chance to rejoice at his emigration to the province:
- A Russian museum gave me a job, and it is I teach there. I want to remain in Russia because we still have to recover from the terrible years that we had (under the Communism, presumably - KC). As a Russian citizen, I should work in Russia.
