Obama threatens Putin over phone with new sanctions

Obama and Putin spoke on the phone. As reported by Western media, the head of the White House threatened with new sanctions if Moscow does not stop sending terrorist gangs to Ukraine.
Moreover, Russia should take concrete steps to neutralize the existing armed gangs in order to stabilize the situation in Ukraine.
The conversation took place on Monday, June 23.
According to the White House spokesman Josh Earnest, Obama urged Moscow to support peace efforts and not allow the terrorists in eastern regions of Ukraine to receive weapons and equipment from Russia.
"Though we believe a diplomatic solution is still possible, Russia will face additional costs if we do not see concrete actions to deescalate the situation", Earnest quoted Obama's words.
In response, Putin promised to support the cessation of hostilities and offered "to negotiate directly with opposing sides."
After telephone the conversation between Obama and Putin, leaders of Russian terrorists declared that they would stop fighting against the Ukrainian troops.
"In response to a cease-fire call from Kiev, we pledge to cease fire on our side. The ceasefire will last until June 27", said the ringleader of the terrorist gang Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Boroday, as quoted by Russian media.
On the evening of June 23, it became known that the negotiations took place in Donetsk, attended by representatives of Ukraine, Russia, the OSCE and the Russian terrorist gangs of DPR and LPR.
It has been reported, that former Ukrainian president Kuchma was participating in negotiations. He said that negotiations between the parties led to a temporary ceasefire. "We have agreed on a bilateral ceasefire until 10 am on June 27", Kuchma said during a press briefings after the negotiations.
