6/14/2014 11:13:16 AM

Near Lugansk Russian terrorists downed an Ukrainian transport aircraft IL-76, reported the Ministry of Defense of the country. 49 servicemen were on board of IL-76. They all died.

Ukrainian news agency UNN with reference to the MP Anatoly Gritsenko reported that on board the plane were 9 crew members and 40 paratroopers. Later, these data confirmed by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, which began pre-trial investigation of a criminal offense under a "terrorist act, which led to loss of life and significant damage to property".

The plane was shot down on Saturday night while landing at the airport in Lugansk.

"By firing from the anti-aircraft gun and heavy machine gun was hit a military transport aircraft of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, IL-76, which carried out the transportation of personnel for the purpose of rotation. On board were servicemen, machinery, equipment and food", according to the Ministry of Defense.

Russian terrorists in response mockingly declared that the transport plane was shot down with a AK rifle. They also declared of downing of another plane - near Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. No confirmation of this information from other sources is reported.

On the YouTube appeared a video footage from one of the city webcams, which allegedly captured the explosion of the plane.

Lugansk airport is under control of Ukrainian military, but the rest of the city is under control of the Russian military special terrorist gangs. A coordinator of the group Information Resistance Dmitry Tymchuk emphasizes that "the object controlled by Ukrainian law enforcement bodies is actually under siege".

The last attempt to attack was made by Putin-led international terrorist organization Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) on June 11 at 5 am. Russian attack on the Ukrainians on the Ukrainian land then did not bring them the desired results. Among the Ukrainian military were not casulties. Airport is still controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Before that, on night of June 10, Russian soldiery and GRU terrorists, tried unsuccessful attack on airport. But were pushed back by Ukrainian military. The battle lasted for about an hour. As a result, a Russian thug was killed and 14 others injured.

A few hours before the evening of June 9 this airport has undergone a mortar attack. None of Ukrainian servicemen then was hurt.
