KATYN 2. American double standards for Russian terrorist attacks 4/10 and 7/17 outrage Polish media
7/18/2014 1:23:56 PM

A Polish political portal W Polytice published an article on American double standards for Russian terrorist attacks on 10 April 2010 at Smolensk in western Russia, and on July 17, 2014 in Ukraine. The portal in particular writes:

"On Thursday evening, a few hours after the tragedy, president Obama called president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and insistently demanded:

"All the evidence and wreckage after the accident should remain in Ukraine until an International Commission of Inquiry will be able to examine all aspects of the tragedy".

Shaken by unimaginable disaster and death of Western citizens, the American government and media lost their heads: all proper procedures are to be followed. This is due to the victims and their families. It is a second move, after a prayer, to remember the members of our civilization.

At the same time, Maciej Lasek, head of the Polish committee for the investigation of accidents and a full-time employee of the propaganda department of the government of Donald Tusk claimed on Polish TV station of TVN that the "Russians have every right to investigate the Smolensk disaster".

How will Lasek treat the new developments? Will he claim Malaysian pilots were drunk and hit themselves a flying missile?

The game is far more serious. Polish and world public opinion will be able to see how serious the government is to let honest people know the truth about the death of their countrymen.

We see that the preservation of evidence was the first thought of the American president.

In Smolensk, the same evidence - black boxes, samples - is like snow of yesteryear. The Russians smashed with crowbars the wreckage, turning it into a pile of garbage, they could wash from them traces of explosives. It was a course of action of post-communist elites.

Neither official request for assistance to the NATO and America was then made by Poland, nor it got any American satellite data ... And instead of defense against the Russian propaganda machine and manipulations, the Russian propaganda was duplicated in Poland (and in America too - KC). The Russians are now also trying to do the same, but the world is making fun of them".
