SYRIA. IS units capture al-Bukamal. AI knocks IS out of Midaa

Fightings are getting tougher between the units of Ad Dawla al-Islamiyya/Islamic State (IS) (former Ad Dawla al-Islamiyya fi al-Iraq wa ash-Sham/Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL), which declared on Sunday a caliphate) and other units of the Syrian Mujahideen.
Arab media reported citing local sources that on Monday, after several days of fierce fightings, IS units captured the town of al-Bukamal on the border with Iraq. Units of Jabhat an-Nusra/Victory Front (VF) and Majlis-ash-Shura/Advisory Council (AC) (unified command of the local tribes) retreated.
Sources say that the IS units have broken the situation to their advantage by attacking al-Bukamal from Iraq and using heavy weapons abandoned by Shiite forces in Mosul. Hundreds of families fled from al-Bukamal into neighboring settlements.
Units of VF retreated to the town of al-Shuhail, which has been subjected to aerial strikes by Assad forces. It also reported that the bombing of the city has undergone and Abu Kamal.
Meanwhile, in the outskirts of Damascus, forces of Jabhat al-Islam/Army of Islam (AI) led by Zahran Alloush knocked IS units out Midaa.
Militant units if IS have also been besieged in settlements Otaya and Mesraba in the eastern Ghouta.
