KATYN 2. Putin killed Poland's president to attack Ukraine
8/26/2014 9:54:03 PM
In his speech in the Polish city of Rybnik, chairman of the parliamentary commission on investigation of the Smolensk disaster, Antoni Macierewicz, told about the reasons behind the Putin's murder of Polish President Lech Kaczynski at Smolensk on April 10, 2010.
Polska Times reports:
"In his speech in Rybnik, parliamentarian Macierewicz said important words in connection with the events in Ukraine:
- Russia's aggression should not surprise anyone. Polish national elite died because Putin was preparing for this invasion, and our politicians could not see it. Instead of supporting Kaczynski, whatever shortcomings he may have had, they put his life in the hands of Russia, in the caring hands of the KGB officer. And then they give him the rights to conduct the investigation.
If the world listened to President Kaczynski, it would not have seen today what is happening in eastern Ukraine. The current policy of the Polish government threatens the existence of Poland in the context of events in Ukraine".
Macierewicz showed a video broadcast on Russian television on the day of the disaster on 10 April. The video was made by the official Russian news agency RIA Novosti. There's a 7-second fragment showing the reconstruction of the explosion of the aircraft in the air.
- And how many times we have heard that there was no explosion, that pilots wanted to kill themselves and the president. I got this video six months ago. Two months later, Putin closed the whole RIA Novosti agency and fired 2,000 members of staff. I hope this happened not because of me, said Macierewicz. "
