9/6/2014 9:02:53 PM

Sources from Syria reported that units of Jabhat al-Islamiyyah/Islamic Front (IF) captured a police station in Aleppo. During the capture of the building which is located near the historic fortress of Aleppo, 15 Assadites were neutralized.

As a result of the operation, IF units also captured 5 strategically important buildings around the fortress.

All attempts of Assadites to carry out a counterattack were repulsed. The historical fortress is of strategic importance for the forces of Assad, it is now blocked from three sides.

The task now is to capture the rest of the fortress, after which it will be easier to take control of the city itself.

Huge numbers of snipers have been placed in there and 80 enemy snipers were neutralized in the area of the fortress.

In recent days, blowing up the buildings using underground passages allowed new space for future operations in this direction.

Infidels subject the units of the IF to constant bombardment from heavy weapons, which results in destruction of a large number of mosques and buildings.

Assadites actively shell positions of Mujahideen in the areas and Haidariya and Hanano using artillery and barrel bombs. The bombings led to martyrdom of many civilians in Haidariya.

Assadites bombed positions of the IF and Ad Dawla al-Islamiyya/Islamic State (IS) in the areas of Tal Rifaat, Bzaa, Byanun. Battles are ongoing in the suburbs of Aleppo - Anadan and Haiyan.

On Saturday, Assad's aircraft launched missile and bomb strikes on the IS's central location in the city of Raqqa. 25 people, most of them civilians, martyred.

Fierce fightings continue in Jobar (Damascus). The most intense battles are taking place in eastern and north-western suburbs. Assadites' aircraft bombed about 20 times the positions of Mujahideen. Heavy artillery fired from the military airfield in Mezze.

The fightings spread to neighboring areas of Kabun and Tishrin. Clashes occur in several places. In Kabun, street fightings are the fiercest. Assadites conducted rocket and artillery strikes. There are many civilian casualties.

Infidels also bombed the area in Zamalki using vacuum bombs and Scud missiles. Air strikes have been observed in residential areas of Ain Term.

In turn, Mujahideen continue to attack Assadites in al-Mleha.

To the south of Damascus, fightings spread to Darayya. Assadites shelled western neighborhoods of the city.
